    Station list empty. New user

I’m adding different services and I’m getting this error. There isn’t a drop down list, so I’m not sure how to fill it in.

I have it on this NOAA and also Weatherflow Server.

The list is empty because of comms SSL/TLS error. Are you on Win7? Please post output from Tools => Help.

    Also log would be helpful.

email68 I went through this same problem and tried at least 10 different suggestions to no avail. I prefered Win 7 due to no updates and didn't care much about security.

I finally messed around enough that I permanently damaged the registry and I had no choice but to go to Win10. It was a painless transition and the errors you have immediately disappeared.

Now I have to deal with occasional updates that restart my system when I least expect it, but for me it was the ultimate solution.

oh wow. That's crazy! Not interested in that.

I wonder if HS will do refunds on the plugin in these cases?

          Thanks for the info!

Windows 7 by default doesn't support TLS 1.2 - default is TLS 1.0, but for security all websites don't support TLS 1.0, so you will get same issue with any HTTPS request.
              Unless you enable TLS 1.2.

The Beta seemed to help the NOAA locations. There is still an issue with the Weatherflow Server. I'm guessing the TLS issue.

Yeah, that's the issue racerfern had, not sure why Weatherflow is different. The latest TLS is actually 1.3, possibly that's what they are using. I need to check.

Please note that I'm currently working on some fixes for NOAA2, including Alerts, will post another BETA tomorrow.

email68 Maybe a new set of eyes will find something different. If you take the line "https://swd..."" and put it into a new tab it would execute for me, but within the PI it would fail. Same as yours.

Note the space in the error line needs to be manually removed, Alex says it's not in the actual command. Maybe you'll come up with a revelation. I don't want to re-open a can of worms, be careful with what you change.

I can live with my local Weatherflow and the NOAA for now. If you have something you'd like me to test let me know.

                      Thanks!
