    Creating Events won’t save

I cannot create events using uv index or air quality. I can choose everything but when I hit the save button it won’t save.

Can you go back to the second line "The Device had it value set and is greater than" Looks like you did not set the value...

Am guessing it should be a numerical value...

Or change that line to "The device has it's value Equal to" (then that should give you the unhealthy option as well)

Easier to do with Easy Trigger plug-in

The value is stored in the last line.

Unhealthy is not a value so cannot be compared....

Yes Jon Some HomeSeer Events work like that, hence Easy Trigger (Gives you the option to choose String)

                  Eman.
What are world you talking about.

                  The trigger is 'Device Value'

Device value's are numeric no mention of a string or Easy Trigger.

(PS - The screenshot you posted afterward has not saved the trigger either)!

It's the same result when changing it to a numeric value that matches that string.

*** Take that back, messing around with it and refreshing it allowed me to use the numer value ***

Can you see the Image in my above post # 8?...That's one of my events. At the very bottom of the image is EasyTrigger setting. I hope I didn't jump to conclusions

You can't assume everyone is using Easy Trigger. Your screenshot posted can't be working either as it has not saved the trigger.

That was one of the reasons for the creation of EasyTrigger...

                          And the other Triggers :

Yep, seen that. I managed to get an event built using the built in functions. I like that because anything above that numeric value will trigger the event, which is what I'm looking for.

                            I hope... :>
