Really Sloooooooow

Trying to create events and it is verrrrrry slow. I had changed out a device and the old event was marked as bad (device was not present). All well and good. I tried to change the device and mostly nothing happened. The all devices disappeared. Okay I can handle that. I could not edit the remaining shell. Now when I create a new event ... I select Control a Device and nothing happens.

Have you tried disabling Norton Security Norton Security Malwarebytes Windows Defender Norton 360 Norton 360?
Try creating a new config file and see if it is still slow.

not yet. The only thing slow is events. Not sure about adding device to zwave -- no baseline on new method. What config file? How?

What device did you change out and how did you remove it from HS?

To create a test config file Select Setup > General Tab > Select the Edit config button under th Configuration heading and then select new to setup a new config file. You can always switch back to your current config any time you'd like.

If I select NEW does it propagate what I current have?

Well the answer to that question is NO. Since it did not fill I used a backup and got pretty much the same result. When building event it about a minute to get the control for "control a device" to appear. Original system is much longer
