Setting Holiday Lights and accounting for accidental turn offs

I have an event that turns on some outdoor lights and sets the color based on the holiday using the Jowihue plugin. Sometimes family members turn off a light or they turn it off and then back on. this leaves me with a light that is off, or back to its normaly every day color.

Any ideas on how I can build an event that looks for either of these two and re-runs the event?

Have you tried a secondary (OR IF) condition to your event such as shown below? As long as the Between time is before your event turns the lights off you should be good. The second part of the trigger below is what I would try if the lights are scheduled to turn off at 10 PM.
