HS4-Pi G2

HomeTroller is now available as a "G2" version, with unlimited plugins and other new features, and runs HS4-Pi.

I have been running HS4-Pi - is the G2 version and features included in a regular update to HS4-Pi or do we have to buy an update? Perhaps included in the latest update 4.1.1.18? Where are the release notes that might tell us? Does the HT run the exact same HS4-Pi code as the pure software offering?

Can't speak to the software/code on the newer G2, but my understanding is that it is UPGRADED hardware (and probably some software tweaks with HS)... One of the first things I noticed is the original HSPi had BOTH z-wave and Zigbee radios, whereas the G2 only comes with the Z-wave offering. You'd have to add a Zigbee dongle if you needed Zigbee connectivity.

And obviously, the storage size is larger on the G2.... I did just setup a G2 a few days ago, but have never used/played around with the original, so I can't help with other information... sorry!
