Can't access system except as Guest

Ok, this is weird. All of a sudden when i sign into my system through homeseer.com I'm signed in with a guest account. I can't control devices or edit events or anything. Any thoughts on how I can regain control of the system?

Deleting the users.cfg file and restarting HS3/HS4 will reset the username and password for local login to default/default. Below are instructions to reset this file on Linux.


# Download the putty software, which can be found on the putty.exe link here: [http://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~s...y/latest.html]
# Note down the IP address of your Linux HomeTroller, and navigate to Tools > Linux > Shutdown HomeSeer
# Open up Putty and enter the IP address in the appropriate field (leave the port as-is), and click Open. If you receive any errors or warnings, click yes.
# Once connected, you will be asked to log in. The username is homeseer and the password is the system password that you set when first configuring the device. The default is hsthsths4. Keep in mind that you will not be able to see the letters you enter for the password, nor any indication of such. This is a security feature of Linux.
# Type *sudo rm /usr/local/HomeSeer/Config/users.cfg*
# After hitting Enter, you shouldn't see any warnings or errors. If so, use *sudo reboot* to restart your system. You will now be able to log in with the username and password "default".
# Navigate to Setup, then the Users tab, and add an account with your MyHS credentials and give it Admin and Local access, and you should be all set!

Just use Tools -> Linux -> Linux Tools to run "sudo rm -f /usr/local/HomeSeer/Config/users.cfg"
