Deleting the users.cfg fine and restarting HS3/HS4 will reset the username and password for local login to default/default. Below are instructions to reset this file on both Linux and Windows.

    Linux HomeTroller
    1. Download the putty software, which can be found on the putty.exe link here: http://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~s...ty/latest.html
    2. Note down the IP address of your Linux HomeTroller, and navigate to Tools > Linux > Shutdown HomeSeer
    3. Open up Putty and enter the IP address in the appropriate field (leave the port as-is), and click Open. If you receive any errors or warnings, click yes.
    4. Once connected, you will be asked to log in. The username is homeseer and the password is the system password that you set when first configuring the device. The default is hsthsths4. Keep in mind that you will not be able to see the letters you enter for the password, nor any indication of such. This is a security feature of Linux.
    5. Type sudo rm /usr/local/HomeSeer/Config/users.cfg
    6. After hitting Enter, you shouldn't see any warnings or errors. If so, use sudo reboot to restart your system. You will now be able to log in with the username and password "default".
    7. Navigate to Setup, then the Users tab, and add an account with your MyHS credentials and give it Admin and Local access, and you should be all set!

    Windows
    1. Shut down HS4 by closing the HomeSeer HS4 program windows. Once it is closed, navigate to the HomeSeer HS4 program folder and open the Config folder, the default file path is C:\Program Files (x86)\HomeSeer HS4\Config.
    2. From here, delete the users.cfg file. If you have file extensions hidden, this will appear as just "users".
    3. Next, restart HS4. You will now be able to log in with the username and password "default".
    4. Navigate to Setup, then the Users tab, and add an account with your MyHS credentials and give it Admin and Local access, and you should be all set!

myhs.homeseer.com logs in as guest with no rights.

Click image for larger version Name:	2022-07-21_21-28-26.jpg Views:	0 Size:	11.3 KB ID:	1558564When I log into myhs.homeseer.com, it logs in as guest instead of the account I created with administrator rights. My left the default/default account and then added another account. I use an email address I created just for myhs.HomeSeer.com which is not a user.

What is going on with this thing? It was working fine, then wasn't and on and on. I am getting frustrated. Please help me. I get access denied.
