Changing the name on my controller/system

    Hello,

I have two HomeSeer controllers and went ahead and paid the $25/year to support both of them through myHS. I am trying to figure out how to name each system. Right now it is "HS4PiV3" and "HS4 Web Control". Understandable default names, but I would like to name each location.

Using the Linux Tools, I changed the name using
    Code:
    sudo hostnamectl set-hostname ....
but I guess not surprising, it has no effect.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Cheers,
    Bryan

The best way is on your terminal on Mac or cmd on windows 10, 11.
    try ssh homeseer@HS4PiV3
    sudo raspi-config
    then you will see
Then select 1 and you will find how to change the host name.

Thanks! This is actually to change the name that the HomeSeer controller displays up through MyHS. I have two systems now and upgraded to a paid subscription for MyHS. I was able to successfully change the name of the Pi but it seems the system name does not propagate that system name up through the stack.

Thank you! Of course it is hidden in Custom and not in General.
