✅ Cannot add Zwave Kwikset lock

    Hi,

so i imported over my devices and everything seems to work except the locks.

i have 3 kwikset zwave locks.

i have tried removing them and readding them and what i am getting as an error is "Failed to get a security scheme or verify the key from the node."

i have tried readding at the door and right next to the zwave stick.

not 100% sure this is a HS4 issue or something else.

using windows and a HomeSeer SmartStick +

    any ideas.

The pre-beta is using the same plugin as HS3 so it's not likely to be an HS4 issue. Contact our support folks for help.

Any idea when there will be a HS4 Z-Wave plugin? I assume there will be one.

It will be operation when the open beta is released early next month

May I suggest to release the HS4 Z-Wave PI during the closed beta phase.

Support resolved this, solution was to remove the lock, wait for the batteries to drain and readd and it worked.

only issue now is on one lock the child devices did not create

I have a Kwickset Z-wave lock that worked great in HS3 and I was able to add and change user codes. Now that I have HS4 and have enabled Z-wave Graphic UI. I do not know how to get to the settings to change user codes. Does anyone know how to do this?

                  Actually you need to enable

                  Show Legacy Z-Wave Menu
Show Legacy Z-Wave Device Config Page

and then will have all the function of the lock. You must enable this for any advanced Z-wave feature.
