⛔ HomeSeer Mobile will not connect when my phone is connected to my local WiFi...

I discovered that while Homeseer Mobile connects to HS4 perfectly when I am not connected to my in home WiFi, it hangs at "Connecting to system" when my WiFi is connected. I am using the free MyHS service. This is a brand new account that I created just for this HS4 beta. All of my HSTouch devices connect using the MyHS account no problem and they are using the same WiFi.
    HomeSeer Version: HS3 Pro Edition
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 Pro
Processor Type and Speed: i7 - 3.26 GHz
    Total Physical Memory: 16Gig

    Plugins: BlBackup | EasyTrigger | FitbitSeer | HSTouchServer | Insteon | WeatherXML

Does Homeseer Mobile App work with HS4? When I upgraded, mine was initially working, but then when i logged out and tried to relogin it tells me "HS3 system [HS4 license number] is not compatible. Please update from 4.0.1.23 to 3.0.0.500 or newer."

EDIT: I was using an old version of the android app. Worked fine once I updated it.

SECOND EDIT: but now that I've updated the app, I've lost all my dashboards. Anyway to restore these? Is there a backup/restore function yet?

I am having the same issue since ages, i.e. even on HS3. Sometimes killing the app and restarting helps but usually I just turn off WiFi on my phone. Kind of annoying. Do you have another network card in your system or maybe a virtual machine? HomeSeer seems to get confused with those and tries to connect to the wrong IP. In my case it usually tried to connect to the network of my virtual machine.

Make sure you have your myhs user/pass set in HS, on the users tab in setup. I found out this this is required in HS4 and was not necessary in HS3

I do not have any VM's or additional nic's in my HS4 machine.

I see this issue with all versions but it's only because sometimes my phone inadvertently connects to my open WIFI guest network at home which is firewalled from the HS server.

macromark No, still not fixed. My phone is connected to the same network that Homeseer is on. If I turn off wifi I can connect, but if wifi is enabled on my phone or on any device, it will not.
I am logging in with the same username that my local homeseer is using to log in (says use when local) so I'm not sure what is going on. If it ever gets fixed, I will post in this thread to let you know.

                  Regards,
                  Tony

Same problem here, running HS4. I can connect with my Android device but the IOs is giving me that same error.
I got it to work once and then got the message. I uninstalled the APP, restarted everything Wifi off with no success.
                      Very annoying.

Yes but not as expected, I had to open an myHS account and use it to connect to my system remotely. Since I need 2, one for my wife and one for me I guess I will be sponsoring the homeseer development with that monthly fee.

I have the same issue. If I use the app it gets stuck on "connecting to system". But if I open a browser on my phone and open myHS I can log in. Hopefully this gets fixed soon
