I do not see a way to change the graphic image of the root device. Maybe I am missing it. Is this by design or will I be able to do this in a future update?

You can still get to the old HS3 style device list on HS4 by entering http://<your hp4 ip>/deviceutility I use it to change the graphics to something (. I.E. the old icons still on the drive) not in the new prepared list of icons for HS4 However, it allows you to select a new graphic for the root but it doesn't seem to stick. It does allow you to change the graphics for the child's devices. Admittedly, I didn't spend much time on it.
