    ⛔ Zwave plugin question

    Hi,

After having many issues with Domoticz, I decided to switch back to HomeSeer.
I took my changes and started with HS4 beta so I don't have to migrate again later on (among other advantages)

I must say that it's running very smooth till now and for me it's good enough to run it as a production system :-)

However, before I do so there is one important thing to know for sure.

I have 50+ zwave devices and I (had to) use the legacy HS3 zwave plugin. I read that the HS4 based zwave plug is ready and waiting for final documentation (correct me if I'm wrong)

When I can move to HS4 zwave will all zwave/device information be preserved? In other word, can you tell me how the migration will take place from the legacy HS3 zwave plugin to the native HS4 zwave plugin?

    Many thanks in advance
    Regards,

Check out the release notes for the latest beta of the Z-Wave plugin:

    Changed in version 3.0.2.0 (Beta)

    * Prep for HS4 version. All users will need to upgrade to this version before upgrading to the HS4 version of the pluign
    * When the plugin shuts down it updates all Z-Wave data in HS devices as a backup. This data will be used by the HS4 plugin and needs to be up to date

Hello, i'm continuing this topic,as it relates to my question :

i upgraded to hs4, but didn't upgrade the wave plugin before (3.0.1.252), is there a nice way to upgrade to the hs4 plugin instead of the hs3 legacy one ?

              Many thanks !

You would need a flux capacitor, but they are out of stock - https://www.jaycar.com.au/flux-capacitor/p/OUTATIME

(eg the HS4 version of the plugin is not yet available, you continue using the old HS3 one for now)
