The change C to F should be configured on the RFXCOM General config page.
To switch from the HS3 view to HS4 is only necessary while you configure the device and not for normal use so I guess there is not an urgent need to upgrade the plugin to HS4 for additional cost.

            Onto WeatherXML...

            went pretty smooth and quick.

I added the devices to the device page, but having a user page, i dont really see me needing them so have to decide if I want all that on this page or not.

Instead of all the ifs in your logic you basically have the default disarmed condition. Once it changes from disarmed you need to send a message so that gets rid of all the ifs. A binary choice. So if condition becomes disarmed send a message. A lot simpler

so time to set it in HS4...

                      works like a champ...

                      thx Blade
Silly question (no silly answers!) - why do you need to use BLBACKUP? I get the impression that you see this as a 'must have'... Curious!

and BTW - keep up these good posts, I am waiting for the 'tipping point' on HS4, but haven't seen that evidence yet.

                      Thanks,

What exactly do you want to do.

I suggest you break down your events into a number of simple logic events. You’re only slowing down the execution of events with all those “ifs”.

Because of situations like mine. Windows rebooted because it wanted to install some updates. Afterward ALL my event disappeared Unfortunately, I didn't use BLBACKUP. Should have.

Mmmm - since I moved to Linux from Windows Server 2003 I have had ZERO problems with stability. Almost seems non-intuitive that you would have to use your Home Automation system to protect you from your own Home Automation system....

Thats your problem.. you went from server 2003 to linux.. im running hs3 on win10 pro 1909 with zero issues. have been thus why i have been gone from the forums for almost a year.
then hs4 beta was coming out and i started by setting up a server 2019 1809 box... and its running like a champ too...

so its more than just blbackup for little stuff... what if i uninstall plugins, or make changes, or do anything... i may never need the blbackups... but why not have it..

murphys law.. if you dont have backups you need them.. if you have them.. i will never bother you..

another example.. my neighbor got ticked at his old snow blower... txt me cuz i help him work on it every year.. said u want it. im gonna walk it to the curb.. i said sure.. so i did to it what i told him.. take it apart and pressure wash it... there was shredded belt, melted rubber stuck inside and was making the clutches not engage enough and throwing the belt..
since i got it, i pressure washed it and cleaned it... IT HASNT SNOWED TO USE IT IN 2 YEARS!!!!!!! so thats a good thing.. LOL
