    System Crash

    Bob,

After the upgrade to version 2.5.x my system is crashing almost every day.

I remember this problem also with PHNetwork.
I'm not sure this is the same problem here..
    I have done a fresh installation...still problems
now disabled some plugins..BLLan is one of the plugins that is disabled.

    Hope to find a solution...

Log a help desk ticket on my site and attach a debug log of BLLAN causing the issue.
Without that it will be hard to find.
BTW, I have been running 1.0.6 now for months and no issues with HS 2.5.0.1
          Cheers,
          Bob

                Same problem : http://board.homeseer.com/showpost.p...0&postcount=15

System works fine with v1.0.4.0 (excepted some wrong status) but is crashing every day with version 1.0.6.0.

Do you think loss of network connection is happening when the error happens in HomeSeer?
                  Please let me know

                    Not for me.
Sometimes during the night, while nothing happens. Sometimes during the day. I can't reproduce the problem but it happens by itself whatever time about once a day.
The only thing I'm sure is that it's when I use v1.0.6.0.

I understand, it's quite difficult to solve

                        Same issue here.

Even new installation did not help.

In PHnetwork same problem for some of the users.
it did not happen on all the systems.

Some common problems when this was happening with Phnetwork.
                        - Vmware users
                        - Garbage collecting scripts (Jon000)
                        - Lot of devices, events and plugins

First crash started in version 2.5.x
Upgrade to v 2.5.4 did not help.
Homeseer was running on a Macmini (Windows XP)

New installation of Windows (Vmware server)
                        New installation of Homeseer
Transfer of the plugins to the new system.

system did stil crash once a day.

                          I am looking into it.
This might be a hard one to solve.

OK this is a known bug in windows.
It does not happen all the time so that is why some are not seeing it.
I am looking into a way to solve it.
                            Cheers,
