    Checking WAN IP connectivity

Noticed an odd thing this morning - not really too big of an issue. If I use a dub.dub.dub address for the name of a device I do not get the same drop down for status checking that I get for just a name of a device on my local network.

IE: if I name www.google.com a device name it will not give me the same fields to check than if I name it www-google-com.

Hello Pete. I am sorry, but I don't understand. Can you provide a snapshot of what you're talking about?

Sorry Ultrajones that I didn't get back to you. I changed the WAN checking name from using dashes to dub.dub.dub.

IE: If I change the name of a device to check like www.google.com to www-google-com it will not provide same options in the drop down box.

Sorry Pete, but I am still not following you. Can you provide a screenshot of what you mean by this statement? "... if I name www.google.com a device name it will not give me the same fields to check than if I name it www-google-com"

          Hello Ultrajones,

I tried yesterday for a while to replicate in screenshots and couldn't. Will try again. The concern came up with my DDNS name checking.
