    Rain8 Unit keeps being removed

My Rain8 unit that I create keeps getting removed. Not sure how it is happening. This last time happened after I restarted my computer.

This started happening recently. I am still using version 1.0.14.0

Anyone have any ideas? How can I back up my units so I can easily bring them back.

    Thanks!

        OK the data is there
        Do the following:

        1. Shutdown HS3
        2. Edit the hspi_BLRain8Net.ini and change debugLevel=true
        3. Save INI file
        4. Restart HS3

Once HS3 has been started for 20-30 seconds, then go to the BLRain8Net options and disable debug logging

Attach the BLRain8Net-Detailed.log zipped so I can see it
        Cheers,
        Bob

Ok, I will do make the update. But Fyi, I already added a new unit. Maybe that is why the data is there? Can I back up this file so I will have it in case it wipes it out again?

Sure just create a copy of it somewhere else before you do the test

Do you think I should upgrade to your latest version? Last time I did it wouldn't work, that is why I backed it out. Let me know... Thanks!

You can upgrade to the newest

                1. Disable the plugin
                2. Make sure the HSPI_BLRain8Net.exe is not running (if it is running then kill it)
                3. Update the plugin
                4. Re-enable the plugin

I will check your log as soon as I can
                Cheers,
                Bob

When you loaded up the plugin did you see the rain8 loaded?
                  Cheers,

                    Sorry for the late reply.

I installed the latest 2.0.2.0 and I do see the rain8. It works when I press buttons for zones but it does not give a status.

Try out 2.0.3 in the HS3 updater

Oops, spoke to soon. It keeps dropping the port. I have to keep restarting homeseer for it to come back online.

Are you saying it is losing connection with the Rain8Net?
