Do you have something that may be providing a manual command such as a remote setup? If you have debug enabled then should be able to trace back as to the source of the valve control by looking in the debug log.

FWIW, I'm running 2.18.8.3 which I updated a month ago and my seasonal shutdown has persisted.

Thanks for the fast response. No that I know Michael. How can I roll back to the previous version, other than getting weather values, I do not need it for watering the grass since it is winter here.

if there is an issue I want to resolve rather than letting it persist into future versions. The debug fir a time when you see issue should provide info. it is more likely something other than changes made in last update.

Michael, sorry for the late reply, here there are.
In the meantime, a feature request that has no high priority, whatever you have time, I would like to be able to have an email sent 30 minutes before the sprinkler valve goes on. I think there is such feature but does not work.

It appears the valve control is based upon the setting for a daily safety turn all valves off. I inhibited this safety in 2.18.

Email design intent is notify of non-normal situations. If you want email on irrigation start warning then setup an event based upon change of the starting zone device. From the manual "The Starting Zone device code (S66) contains the zone idenfiication of the zone that has just turn on. This device will also pulse ON if a notification time is setup. This can then be used as a trigger for something such as a Homeseer event." Can you point me to where in the documentation that I have this to be an email so I can update the document?

Thanks Michael, since I have it disabled for the season, would it be possible to disable it as option if the season is disabled?
The notification is in the site menu under zone starting notification: Notify XX minutes before zone starts via starting zone device. This could be a great feature if works.

I believe the feature is functional. the notification is via the status device 66. email is used to report things that may need attention. just use hs event on status device 66 change if you want email or other form of notification.
