Problem with manual start

I clicked "Run Area 1 Now" thinking that would "run area 1 now". It didn't start the cycle but it checked "Enable manual control for 30 minutes" for each zone. I thought OK, now I need to click "Start Manual". That didn't start anything either. I thought maybe even manual start is inhibited by the restrictions such as "don't run on Friday" (although it definitely should not be) so I removed that restriction. I clicked "Run Area 1 Now" again and it started area 2 and area 3 but not area 1.

Any idea what is happening? I'm running 2.3.58.

In my transition to make the buttons controllable via HS devices I neglected to engage the device that changes the mode from Auto to Manual. You would see this in the General Status page at the bottom. It is corrected in V2.3.68.
