    mcsSprinklers refuses to start watering

Help - MCSSprinklers is trying to kill all my plants!

Starting on 5/1, it doesn't seem to want to start up the watering at all.

Looking at the "Area Touch" screen or the Zones listings, it says it's ready to water immediately. For instance:

    1) 05/4/11 08:34 PM - 09:23 PM
    2) 05/4/11 09:23 PM - 09:28 PM
    3) 05/4/11 09:28 PM - 09:46 PM

If I wait a few minutes, it will simply delay all of these:

    1) 05/4/11 08:36 PM - 09:25 PM
    2) 05/4/11 09:25 PM - 09:30 PM
    3) 05/4/11 09:30 PM - 09:48 PM

    ...and nothing ever starts up.

I can't find anything that indicates an 'inhibit' condition.

I turned on "General Debugging" under logging under "Other Setup", but I have no idea where the files are or what their names are. From the documentation:

"Debug information can be logged to text files. The general debug will contain scheduling and control information. The server debug will contain browser interface information."

There is nothing that looks remotely like these files in the my Homeseer 2 directory.

I am getting an occasional error in the HS logs:

    5/4/2011 8:34:23 PM - mcsSprinklers - Touch_ASP CalendarStartingDate 5/11/2011 8:34:23 PM Line 60 Year, Month, and Day parameters describe an un-representable DateTime.

I have no idea what this means. It isn't yet 5/11/2011 of course.

    I am running version:

    5/4/2011 8:30:04 PM - Plug-In - Finished initializing plug-in mcsSprinklersS
    5/4/2011 8:30:04 PM - Plug-In - Initializing Plug-in: mcsSprinklersS
    5/4/2011 8:30:04 PM - mcsSprinklers - Version | V2.10.0.63/ (Standard) Copyright 2004-2010 mcsSolutions Registered with Homeseer

    Any help would be appreciated.

The debug files in V2.10 are in \Data\mcsSprinklers\ and will be .txt file with General as part of the filename. Zip them up and post them and I should be able to tell you why. It is also useful to have \Config\mcsSprinklers.ini which is your setup information.

One technique that may help is from the Zone Status page to do a Stop All followed by a Restart. Depending upon your scheduling mode you may also have a Reset Water Today button on the same page. If you do then use it as well even though you have not watered today. The best place to look for inhibits are on the General Status page.

      Thank you Michael!

I had somehow gotten it into "Manual Mode", which is indicated by "Stop Manual" in the Zones status screen. Clicking on "Stop Manual", everything started up again.

      All is well now...
