The database is used to retain historical information so in most cases whatever happens with your database will not affect the current operation.

The settings, such as you described, are stored in a text file \Config\mcsSprinklers.ini. There are 10 backups made of this file and prior ones can be restored from the Other Page. A new one is made each time a Save is done.

I do not see any particular issue with the run log segment you posted. There are various delay settings for different purposes and I do not understand what you are trying to describe with the delay setting.

The valve failures after four attempts reflect an issue with the communciation between the PC and Rain8. mcsSprinklers send a command and waits for the Rain8 to acknowledge that it received it. This is part of the Rain8Net protocol. If it does not receive it it repreats up to four time. There is a response delay setting on the Devices/Rain8 page that was originally setup for 500 milliseconds, but values in the 3000 range seem to work better on current systems. Many have found the need to cycle power on the Rain8Net when it gets into a mode of not responding.
