    Output specs on BC4?

I am trying to connect my BC4 to a Xantech connecting block and am having issues. Does anyone know the output voltage and amperage of the BC4.

Xantech has informed me that I need a 12V Pulsed DC signal in the 5mA to 100mA range. I know the BC4 is supposed to have rather high output power, but didn't know if it exceeded 100mA or if it was a 5V vs. 12V output.

    Thanks in advance!

May I ask for clear answer about this on the message board?
I have the project to switch from JDS-IRexpander to a Bitwise BC4, but wish to keep my xantech-based all-house-IR-network in place.
      Thanks

        Pierre,
The BC4 outputs IR at 5v. It can work with Xantech systems, but the way to do it will depend on what equipment you have in place. If you are simply using passive connecting blocks (and some of their amplified blocks), the BC4 emitter outputs can drive them by itself. If you are using certain active blocks which require 12v input, you may need to place a BC4 emitter on a Xantech IR receiver to "convert" the voltages.
