error loading plugin: "root element missing"

This message started appearing recently.

There is nothing in the HS log file to indicate anything is wrong with BC4 all the messages appear normal.

I am thinking of reinstalling the plug-in but would like to retain all my settings pertaining to the plug in and am not sure how to do that.

Any other ideas?

Sounds like there may be an issue with your BC4s.xml file. It is located in the Config folder of your HS directory. If you email it to me I'll take a look.

My BC4s.xml file was corrupted. Copied from a backup and everything is fine now.
