BT Not reporting after 6 hours

Both devices are set up for:

10 5 DiscoverService

Both devices are configured per your help:

0 2 Close @(Network0) > 5 Edit
1 1 Home @(Network0) >= 0 Edit
2 3 Far @(Network0) > -20 Edit
3 0 Gone true

With debug on I receive this in the error log for both devices after the six hours:

BT Debug - Polling Glyn (Method=DiscoverService) on Network0 returned signal strength=-2147483648

BT Debug - Error while polling Glyn: A service discovery is already pending

These errors on reported in the log about every 20 seconds.

Using:

BT Plug-in Version V0.38.2.2 (Installed from the updater)
HomeSeer 2.1.130.0.
WIDCOMM Stack

When checking the Bluetooth devices under the Bluetooth Neighborhood (after the six hours) both devices are present and connected.

What version of the Widcomm stack do you have ?

Did you try with with an other poll method such as autodiscovery ?

Yes I have tried the autodiscovery; (tried all three types). I am using the Widcomm stack version 1.4.2.8

The bluetooth support dlls require Widcomm 1.4.2.10 minimum. (See plugin requirement). Your 1.4.2.8 stack is pretty old .... I have 5.1.2800 installed !

You may want to check if your Bluetooth dongle software can be upgraded (manufacturer web site).

If it can't be upgraded, and you are using XP SP2, you may try to remove the Widcomm stack software, so that the BT dongle is managed by the XP Bluetooth stack.
