Found an interesting bug....(I can reproduce this on my mutiple PC's with the different stacks I have)
- Restart Windows XP Sp2 client (HS server remains up throughout this test)
- Start BT Client (or have it in startup group)
- The connection balloon is displayed (Auto Connect is set)
- HS server reports BT network connection
- Leave the BT client systray connection balloon active (do not dismiss)
- Leave in this state for some time (say 5 mins)
- Look at the BT device config page for a device which is darn close to the PC (reports not present)
- Back to test PC...now dismiss connection balloon and open BT client window
- Log shows system trying to find devices but no luck in discovery
- On next discovery cycle (with a couple of secs) the client window displays the expected results in correct discovery of the BT devices
- The window can now be dismissed to the sys tray without any further loss of discovery data.
Thanks
Darren
