Device status

I created a new bluetooth device and it is detected when it's on or off, but the strange thing is that status shows a "1" or a "0" and not device detected of device away.

Any idea what might cause this ??

It's more than likely one of the plugins you are running that is changing this information.

You have to go to the Bluetooth plugin configuration web pages, then from the device list page, click on the "CONFIGURE" link on your device row.
