Am I just wasting My time NX-590E

    This can be caused from many things. First Remove power from the 590e and reapply power. Check to make sure that you have a good internet connection and then make sure the email addresses are correct in the 590e. Also make sure the mail server you are specifying is correct.

      Cycling the power gets rid of it for a while, but it comes back.

      The email addresses and smtp account are all correct. As a matter of fact, it has successfully sent emails in the past.

      This "aux comm fail" came out of the blue. I don't think I made any recent changes to Caddx that might have led to this new problem.

        Probably doesn't go away. It is only delayed until the next email is attempted by the 590. How do you know what email server is correct? These change with time especially if you are using an IP address. Who do you have an ISP with?
        I would suggest to track a email sent from your normal email client and find what IP server it utilized.
