    Trouble

    Hi. I can't get the plugin to work. I am going to try adjusting the baud rate tomorrow. I get the same communications error about writing to bit 0. Any other ideas?

    More information please. 9600 is default for the caddx, I believe.

      Yes we need more info. Hardware & software versions.

        Here is the info:

        HS 2.1.104
        Caddx 3.1.32

        Hardware: PC running MS Server 2003. Caddx NX-8E.

        I think I have two zones but not sure. I have fire and burglar.

        I deleted all items and reloaded from scratch. They now say "unknown" and I there is no buttons to try and toggle them.

          OK - Can you go into Setup/Interfaces/Caddx Plug-in and click on Config? You'll need to recreate everything in there. Post back with results.

              well I don't see the port info there, but I'm not good at reading the logs. Mine reads the port and reports status back on my zones. Did you have any luck recreating your arm/disarm, chime and zone buttons? It does look like it sees your zones. How many do you have?

                There's no communication with the panel. The plugin is sending requests but never getting a response. Have you verified all the panel settings listing in the setup guide?
