    Congratulations cactsbob!

From what I read I think there are a few fellows on this board who will be very happy with this news.

It seems that a lot of people are using the DSC brand alarm systems.

Personally I do not have a DSC system but a few of my clients do.

Is the plug-in available now and how much will it cost?

    Thanks

The DSC Plug-in is in the updater now. The price is $19.95 (cheap). Let me know how you like it.

Does this Plug in support the 864 Panel

I have the 864 panel with the same PC interface. Will your plugin support it?

                  Thanks;

This plugin does work with the DSC 864 Panel also

Shortly after I posted the question asking if it works with the 864, I just purchased the plugin and it works fine. I look forward to learning how to trigger events and events trigger setting with this plugin.

This is a great plug-in! Just installed it and it's running awesome. Will be making the purchase once we do a little more testing.

                            Ring Detected = 5609B

I found an interesting thing that I never noticed before. When my home phone rings, I get an event in my log from the DSC panel that says Ring Detected. I could use that to mute audio, or say something.

Does anyone know how to trap event log messages to trigger an event?

I tried to see if the DSC plug in trapped this, but it doesn't appear to trap that event.

                            Thanks,

                            Scott

                              Missing documentation

                              Hi Bob

When I installed the DSC Panel Plug-In, if I remember correctly, it asked me if I wanted to log every change reported by the panel. I thought it was a good idea and I said yes. Now I would like to change that to no. How do I do that?
