    Which USB to RS232

    Hi All

having a few issues with my DSC plug-in and Bob thinks it might be the USB2RS232 converter I'm using.

I've got a Startech USB to RS232 on Win7 Enterprise x64. The driver I'm using is a vista x64 that works great on my my other Win7 machine, so I decided to use that.

I can't use PCI, as I have a Dell Zino 400 HD, which has no slots

Has anyone got one that works on x64?

    Regards

I'm not really sure but Digi might have 64bit drivers for its boxes and you can usually find them on Ebay such that you don't pay full price.

I was using that device on a Zino with X64 also, worked fine. You need a recent driver from the chip maker...

I have have great luck with CablesToGo Model number 46047. Nicely priced and no drivers needed. Works great on Windows 7 both x64 and x32. I got mine at CompUSA but would think you could find it at your local electronics store. Hope it works out for you.

46047 returns no part found at cables to go. Are you sure that's the right part number?
