device control thru script

Is there a way to control devices through a script? I would like to control thermostats set points thru a script. If I try to set the device value, it doesnt take.

so the hselk script commands do exist already? I dont see anything at the end of the manual for thermostat control via scripting..

Sorry, this does not exist already. I am working on a new version now that will include this functionality. This latest upgrade is taking longer than expected due to a project I am involved in at work.
