    problem - '53 output inactivated...

Any ideas? When I originally configured the plugin, all status's were working. However, I recently noticed that I was having problems with the bedroom door status displaying in HS. It shows up blank. All other wired/wireless devices work fine. The device is functional within elk, and confirmed no problems there. I have deleted the devices in hs, and let the plugin recreate, and still have the problem. I have also tried renaming the device in elkrp, and the name change worked in the plugin, but still shows up as a blank status. In the log I am recieving '53 output inactivated.

Log file during the device recreate and immediately after are here:

    Toby,

I've no idea unless some event is doing it, but could the new Elk firmware help? I updated to it last week and it seemed to help solve a couple of minor errors with outputs on my end.

This would be a lot easier if I knew what I was doing...

Good idea, but no go. I tried updating the firmware, but as soon as the event loads, I get the same output 53 inactivated. I have looked at both the elk config of the zone, as well as the hs config of the device, and dont see anything different from the zones that work... This is wireless zone 150 on my elk system (and the last wireless zone used). 149 and < work fine.

I have some keyfobs and motion sensors coming, so will be curious to see if adding those to 151 and > will have any changes... However it really looks to me like a plugin issue... Like I said before, zone 150 works fine on elk, triggering the alarm...

I turned on advanced debugging, and I am even more confused than in the past. It looks like the plugin deactivates it immediately upon the plugin loading, even before any connectivity between the plugin and elk occurs. See below...

          Toby,

I noticed a message similar to this when I switched to serial communications. Not sure what is going on, but I'll see if I can come up with something. Please keep an eye on the source code discussion for more updates.

Do you have both advanced debug and debug turned on? It looks like you only have advanced debug on. Please turn both on and include the log after restarting HS.

            Thanks,
