I am sending weather information to my M1 keypad using Javascript (outside temp and wind speed). Everything works great except when I try to send the degree symbol following the temperature the KP message is cut off at the point where the degree symbol should be. Is there a special character to use to get the degree symbol on the M1? I have tried including the symbol in a text string coming right from my weather station and that does not work. I have tried to send the symbol as its own 1 byte string and that has the same problem. I have also tried sending the unicode value and that does the same thing but I'm not sure I am using the unicode correctly with my javascript.
Any ideas? I suspect the M1 degree symbol is not the same as the Ascii or Unicode symbol.
