Trying & testing HAControl

Bryan,

Testing some and building screens. Very nice. My screens are looking OK and loading backgrounds fine. I see errors in the logs though. Not sure why. Also can I adjust the gifs so that the fonts fit better. IE check out attached pic. Been following your excellent documentation.

Hey Pete,
Thanks for giving this a try.

The first thing I notice from the picture, your trying to put the info on 2 lines. Right now everything must be on one line to fit the graphic. I can look into making it able to do 2 lines though.

As far as the errors, it looks like its looking for graphics that are not there. Can you narrow which page the errors are being created from? Also, if you want, you can zip up the ini files and send them to me. That way I can load it up here and see what's going on. My email is bptworld at comcast.net.

Hello Brian, fixed main screen adjusting the gif image a bit. Seeing the errors on the main page. Odd thought that the forward backward slash are incorrect in the error log. The files and directories do exists and the screens looks ok. Thanks for having a look. I am in FL tonight (cold here - not as cold as up north though). Pete

Hi Pete,
I found the culprit causing the error messages, this will be in the next release.

I've also added in the code to display 1 or 2 lines (your choice) when setting up the Info Bar. Complete with a new graphic for the 2 liner. I've attached a pic below.

I'm doing some testing but the new version should be out this week.

Thanks, I got up early today and finished the code/documentation/graphics and have sent them off to the updater. It should be available later today or tomorrow. Look for Ver. 1.0.18.

I also am trying this software and getting the error in the HS log-
Web Server Error 404, cannot serve file: C:\Program Files\HomeSeer 2\html/HAControl/gel_blue_large_800.gif
I upgraded to version 1.0.18 tonight and there is no change.

I've made some more changes, if you want I can send you a test build to try and see if it takes care of those error messages. You can contact me at bptworld at comcast.net

FYI: HAControl 1.0.19 has been posted to try and correct those error messages.

Important note on the fix. It is no longer needed to type the directory name before the file name, just the filename is required for any graphic field.

Example: gel_blue_large_800.gif
