Camera Server on Different computer.

I was wondering how to set this plug in up if my camera server in on a differnt computer on my network?

Right now about the only way to do this is to have HS installed on the second machine (the one with the WinTV card) and use DCOM calls to the plugin from the machine with the Motion Sensors. I have tested this and it works fine. Response time is, of course, a little better when everything is on the same machine but still very respectable.

Thanks for the response. How are most people doing this. I only have a couple of cameras going now but thought to the future and thought that a sepeate server just for cameras would be the way to go. Maby O was wrong.

If people can let me know about there setupmaby I should think about changing.
