- First make sure you have upgraded both the HomeSeer plugin and the Sage plugin to at least InControl version 1.4.0
- Shut down all Sage Clients and Sage Servers
- Manually edit the Sage.properties (typically found in C:\Program Files\SageTV\SageTV) and remove all lines begining with "lamansoft/incontrol" and save the file.
- If you use the Sage Client, manually edit the SageClient.properties (typically found in C:\Program Files\SageTV\SageTV) and remove all lines begining with "lamansoft/incontrol" and save the file.
- If you use Sage in Service Mode, you will also need to manually edit the SageClient.properties (typically found in C:\Program Files\SageTV\SageTV) and remove all lines begining with "lamansoft/incontrol" and save the file.
- Rename the hspi_incontrol.ini (in the HomeSeer Config directory) to a backup file
- Start HomeSeer
- Start Sage on your server, do not start any clients at this time.
- Select "Control" from the Sage main menu and follow the prompts
