NeoSpeech voices Kate & Paul

Can Message server client use Kate & Paul voices to speak?

I installed them on the client computer and slected control panel/Speech Properties picked from voice slection dropdown NeoSpeech Paul 16K. I tested the preview Voice and Paul spoke but Message server client does not use it. I can get Merlin to speak but not SAPI.

This is on a win2k box message server client 2.4.186 and SAPI Plugin checked. I also get this error in the message server. pop up also stop working when SAPI is checked

Any one have this working or is this beyond the programs capability?

Hi when I try this nothing happens no errors no sound.

hs.Plugin("Message Server").SAPI_MessageToClient "This is a test"


One thing I do notice is if SAPI plug-in is checked I do not recieve any popup messages and I also recive errors in the error log. If I uncheck SAPI popup messages work again and there are no errors in client log.

Both buttons work with Kate 16K

MS_Client worked fine. Make sure they configure the SAPI plugin (message type) and it seems to use the Windows Default Voice.
