How do I license Message server?

I had purchased a license for message server and been running it up to 1.7

Now in HS2, it wants an ID and password.

My orig license email only gave me a number starting HTxxxxxxxxxxx

How do I get the required ID and password?

Did you try the online recovery process midway down on this page? If that doesn't work you need to file a help request.

Thanks Rupp. What I've been trying to find out is whether my old codes get converted to a new HS2 code, or whether I have to buy new HS2 codes?

If I have to, I'm obviously not the happiest camper, but at least I can get my house back on line. Right now I'm dead in the water and I don't want to do the uninstall, old install, uninstall, new install dance.

They get converted. You should be able to run in a 30 day trial until the help desk can provide new codes for you.
