Hi, I need help please. The error file is attached and running HS2 xx.66. The client hangs when logging in. When I exit, HS shows the disconnect but no user name or computer name.

Sorry, got distracted. The OS on the HS box is windows 2000. On the client it's windows XP. I've only tried the one client computer. When I try to connect, HS doesn't show a connection, but the client does. However, the client window greys out and sits. When I disconnect, HS shows logs the disconnection, but shows no user or computer. If I try to reconnect, the same thing happens. I'm running a firewall on the client machine, but I disable it when trying to connect.

It act's like a connection is made, but doesn't progress beyond the initial connect. On the HS side, the client count shows "0".

Same problem here. W2KSP4 server, XP client.

Attempting local login on HS machine produces the same problem.
              Login window fades then sits.

I will need to install W2K to figure out this one.

If you have time can you test the version 3.0.1.30 I removed the encryption until I found the problem.

                Thanks,
                Christian

                  That did it!

Had to update the client before it worked. New interface looks great!

Thank you for all your efforts and a quick response.

                      Whoops!

                      Jumped the gun a little.

Logging in on the local machine works but not remotely. Still get the login screen fade-out then hang.

                          Sorry Christian,

I just noticed I still had 3.0.1.29 client. Updated to .30 and is fine now.

Copied the wrong zip file over to my laptop.

Where is 3.0.1.30? I didn't see it in the updater.

I removed version 3.0.1.30 because it break the auto update feature.
Send me an email I will give you instruction for the file and install.

                              Thanks,
                              Christian
