AAG TAI8540D 1-Wire Humidity not detected

I have a AAG TAI8540D 1-Wire Humidity connected to a Temp08 running v1.03 firmware. The temp sensor in the AAG TAI8540D was detected but the humidity sensor has never been detected. The AAG website says the TAI8540D uses a DS2438 which the Temp08 manual says it compatible with. I've had this a while and never spent the time to get it working right, any ideas where to go?

    Thanks,
    Jabran

If the temperature sensor was detected, then you have picked up the DS2438 from that module. Change the type to Humidity (TYP command - select H for humidity) to see the humidity reading.

To confirm, check the serial number of the temperature sensor. If the last digits are 26 then this is the DS2438.

That makes sense. I tried to set sensor #10 to H and it looked like it worked but it is still reported as Temp. I did manage to get sensor #1 reporting humidity as I typed "typ 10" first and it took that as sensor #1 and set it to H but I can't get sensor 10 set to H. Here's a capture from the settings and tmp that I did via hyperterm trying to set sensor 10, I didn't capture when I set sensor 1 to H:

more interesting stuff. Since #9 was a sensor I no longer use I deleted #9 and now a DIS shows a #10 and no #09 and a TMP shows a #09 and no #10. I did a DIS and it shows a "H" next to #10.

Your sensors look fine. I see the humidity and temp from said sensor. If you want to even out the numbers just era, zzz, ini and typ again.

The sensor that I'm trying to get to display Humidity is #10. #1 is in the Temp08.

              Humidity #01[C90000006CBA2226]=63%

The above are all the same sensor (C90000006CBA2226). You can't make #10 a humidity sensor. When you type "typ" it just becomes the 1st or 2nd humidity sensor (#1,#2,#3). So a DIS will show it as the 10th device and a TMP will show it as the first humidity device.

                Pete,
Thanks, just before your post I did an era then zzz and ini and then I figured that out. As you said it was fine I just wasn't paying attention and having not had a humidity/temp before didn't know what to expect. I have now seen a couple humidity readings in the 35% range but most of them are returned around 63% which I would expect. Not sure why I've seen a few in the 35% range. I'll just monitor it.

                Thanks,
                Jabran
