    B doesn't translate properly to Q

I thought I was going crazy.

I selected B as the X10 code to use for my Palm Pad to Z-wave translation. After entering the 16 unit codes, I tested it. I had B1 go to Q16. B1 didn't turn on q16, but something else. B16 turned on Q16. I have W800 receiver.

Finally I decided to use H instead of B and everything seems to translate correctly; H1 goes to Q16. What gives?

If you are using the ACRF plug-in, the first thing I'd check is to be sure you have X10 emulation enabled for HC 'B'. (You can do remapping in that plug-in too, I think, so there could be a conflict at that level.)
