I can not configure RCS X10

after installing the plugin I can not configure it. It allows me to change degrees F to C. And then not start. The thermostat is set to degrees C. What can be happening?

In the log, do you see any initialization sequences?
I have mine by itself on it's own channel (k). Nothing else...
The thermostat is set to F on the unit be default, so if you want Celcius, you need to configure both the plugin and the thermostat.

It looks as though you have a basic x10 issue. If you have a lamp module or something like that, plug it into the same plug outlet as your thermostat receiving unit and see if you can turn on a light or whatever.

When you open up the cover of the thermostat itself, do you see a heartbeat LED?? When the thermostat is trying to initialize, do you see the PC05 led flash as commands are sent to it?

                Is this a TXB16 or 15?

In the manual there are dim commands to set the decode table... I can't remember what it is now - set it to use decode table P or B.

The lamp test isn't a really good test because that command is a "regular" x10 command. The tstat uses extended X10 commands and these require pristine powerline communications or they will not work. You can try the extension cord test and plug the extension cord into the same outlet as your X10 interface. Then plugin the other end into your PSC05 and then restart HS and see if it can communicate without error with the stat. By the way which X10 interface are you using?

ately as the plugin does not work I'm powering the thermostat
X10 codes through the table P. So runs smoothly from
homes. What we do not get it to sync with RCS X10 plugin.

                      Rupp,

Good point....My intent was to isolate basic com as in on a second phase in the panel. What I don't know is if there is a bridge or whatever.

Are you using a cm11 or another interface to talk X10?

I changed CM15 by CM11 and is synchronized with RCS X10 thermostat.
Now the problem is that options are not changed in grades from F to C.
He says the changes are saved but not so.

Now it does is that the changes I TXB16 degrees to 40 degrees C as
as configured in Homes but in degrees F.

                            What solution do I have?

Glad to hear that you can get it to initialize.

You need to check the mode on the WDU.
Do you have the tstat in C or F?
This is configured on the wall unit. You need to enter setup mode on the WDU and select FC mode.
