    Router Log Samples

Please attach your router log samples here that were gathered from the Router Logger application that I posted.

Please be sure to indicate the exact router that you have.

    TIA

I will have to develop a parser for this router. I should have it ready on the weekend for you to try (hopefully - I have a wedding to go to this weekend)

        Parser

Thanks. I understand real life interferes. No rush. I might get to play with it before then, but don't have a day off until next Thursday.

I just posted build 1.0.10.0 that contains support for the NetGear FR114W router. Give it a try and let me know how it goes.

This router is a little different than the others I have done. Some values will not be loaded into the database because they are not supplied by the router.

Let me know how it goes. You are the tester for this because I do not have this router. I did run your log file thru my Tester app and it seemed to parse it fine, but I will wait to hear back from you.

          TIA

            Blade,

Here's my log file per the Features thread. This is a WRT54G rev 2.0 running Talisman 1.05. The Linux PBX is 192.168.0.3, and the 192.168.0.7 you'll see all over there is actually an wireless access point controller by Proxim that tunnels my access points to one address for roaming...

              D-Link GamerLounge Router

I'd like to use this plug-in with my D-Link GamerLounge router. Here is a sample router log file from the 'router logger application'.

              Thanks!

                Gerry,

I will take a look at the log tomorrow. I will get it into the plugin ASAP for you.

                Stay tuned
                Cheers,
                Bob

                  Gerry,

What is the full model name and number of your router?
                  Cheers,

                    Gerry,

I need more logging information from the router.

Please use the Router Logger application and let it run for a while. Make sure you also create some internet traffic as well. The log you sent is not enough to write a correct parser for the router.
                    Cheers,
                    Bob

The Router is a D-Link DCL-4300. As far as I have seen, the router does not log traffic--basically eveything I've seen is in the sample I posted. I'm hoping I've missed some config (waiting for response from support).

                        Gerry,

Let me know what you find out from support about sending logging from the router to a specific machine on your network.

If you can do this, then I will write a parser for your router. If you cannot do this then the plugin will not work with that router. If this is something that you really want, you could always buy a new router that it works with.

For a list of supported routers, go here:
