How do you cure a constant re-connect of the skype client?

You need to restart the plugin (or HomeSeer) and double-check the Skype Client for prompts during startup.

There might be 2 Skype Client prompts:

1- HomeSeer.exe wants to access the Skype Client. Allow YES/NO ?
2- HomeSeer.exe wants to set Silent mode. Allow YES/NO ?

Each time you upgrade the plugin or HomeSeer, Skype might detect the change and prompt again. If you don't answer, auth might be stuck in a loop...

ok shutdown HS...

Removed Skype

re-installed..and restarted HS

I got the usual 2 prompts...

First to allow homeseer.exe permissions to skype which I accepted.
Second asking to allow silent mode..

Now if I choose to accept but do not click the "Do not prompt" dialog box all is well until I get the Skype connector re-connecting and then I get the prompt to allow silent access....as expected.

Now if I choose not to be prompted again...I get the same Skype re-connecting issue but this time no prompts.

Any ideas?

Currently I have no clue...

- What Skype Client version are you using ?
- What plugin version ?
- How often is the disconnect/reconnect message ? Every minute ? Other ?
