I got the above message in my log at startup this morning. What happens tomorrow? Plugin will not accept license codes. Help!
    Regards, Bob

      Oups,

Still don't have the fixes from HST yet so I still don't feel comfortable charging for it. I'll post .23 to the updater today that has the beta period extended. I thought that 2 months would have been enough time to get some of the issues worked out.. Guess I was wrong..

      Thanks for pointing it out

I sent .23 to the updater yesterday that extends the free period for 2 more months. I hope that's long enough to get all the HS2 issue resolved.

If you already put in .23 from the ocx I posted in the other topic this .23 still needs to be installed (same features, different expiration date).

George, did you send it to both the HS1 and HS2 updaters? I don't see it in the 1.x updater yet.

I asked Rick to only post it to the HS2 updater as the only outstanding issues (GetDevice messages, Exit script not running) that I know of are in HS2. So, in HS1 all features should be operational so the .23 I that I posted in the other forum (the one with the debug messages turned off) is exactly the same code. You can enter your license ID in the HS1 version and it should activate itself just fine.

But I got the "beta period expiring" message using version .22, will my license override that?

Yes, once it expires then you can enter your licence code. In beta, the plugin tells HS that it's a free plugin so the license manager is never involved. Once it expires and you reboot it should fail 'once' and then you can go into the HS setup menus and enter the license code. Then restart HS again and it should work just fine. Just make sure you enter the HS1 license code not HS2.
