    How to connect to Asterisk extension?

    I searched for instructions on how to do this but didn't see any. Can you point me to some steps on doing this? Thanks.

    I can't reply as I never had any Asterisk server home.

    However many plugin users are using such a setup, and I'm quite sure one of them could help you.

      Bump - anyone have any pointers on doing this? I extended my trial to see if I could get this working but haven't been successful so far.

        I demo'd the sip connector until I switched machines then it went to unregistered status even though it was telling me I had 18 days left. I cant see the configuration any more but here is the config file if you can make heads or tails of it....notes in brackets need to be deleted:

        [LINE Asterisk]
        Enabled=True
        DisplayName=Homeseer
        UserName=299 [the extension I setup in asterisk]
        LocalContactId=2
        AuthEnabled=True
        AuthUserName=299 [the extension i setup in asterisk]
        AuthPassword=[the password you setup on the extension page in asterisk]
        DomainRealm=192.168.2.2 [ip address of my asterisk box]
        ProxyServer=192.168.2.2 [ip of my asterisk box]
        IncomingScript=sip_incoming.vb

          Awesome - that worked. I was using my domain name for my Asterisk box and it wasn't working. I switched to internal IP address as you have used and it worked. Now I can play with the connector.
