Can SIP plugin pass called ID without answering the call?

I have a fully configured Asterisk system, which i use for all my calls.

I want to pass the caller id into homeseer somehow, and was wondering if your SIP connector could do this :

listen on an extension that is part of a ring group for the callerid - and pass it into a homeseer value - but NOT answer the call??

Yes you can.

Just remove the sipCall.Answer() command from the controlling script.
