    Event action to play ext. voicemail

    Hi,

    I have a ext. configured in my sip connector and was wondering if there was any way to set up an event action that would play voicemail messages from the Homeseer speaker. I'm not finding anything in HS.

    I don't know how you could achieve this. It depends so much on the SIP server you are connected to...

    The SIP Connector has a "New VoiceMail Message" trigger, that has been tested with an Asterisk VOIP server... but no "Read VoiceMail" action.

      I'm running asterisk.

      I guess I could set up the sip connector to place an internal call to grab the voicemail from an internal mailbox. I think I saw an option to specify what HS speaker to send the call to. I will have to play around with the settings.

      Any other ideas are welcome.
