Im sorry didnt see the post till now..

It should work if it has either a ethernet or serial port for control. I have not added direct support for the ipod dock "yet"... however you can control the dock and get data from it using the custom scripting call with the current plugin

        Thanks

sure will.. it should be here friday.. so will have for weekend.. hoping... ipod dock wont be in until after holiday....

              i have minimal needs...

all i have in the entertainment center is
              tv - 32" crt toshiba
              computer - dell sff optiplex
              WII
              vhs/dvd combo

so this is all overkill for me...
i was just going to go for another harman kardon the avr-3600.. but figured id try this to integrate and see what i can do with it...

all i can say is WOW.. now i dont have any hdmi devices.. and a hdmi tv would allow OSD (on screen display) so all my menu's are via lcd.. it is a pita...

however im rockin it right now.. and loving it.. now i only have 5 speakers and a sub...

but i have the following working crystal clear
                am/fm
dvd/vhs combo (uses 2 different buttons)
****dvd - RGB video and coax digital sound
****vhs - Yellow video and r/w sound
                110cd changer - optical
                wii - y/r/w
                PC - vga and r/w
onkyo a-22 old school amp as multi room feeding bose 151 speakers out back

all this working great and easy..
i got to take my pelecan game selector pro out and about 12 wires!!!!!! i took soooo much out of the entertainment center!!!!!
i even have the tv running surround and not running off of tv at all for sound.... so reciever sound only.. that cut down some wires....

this receiver is definitely going to be a learning curve..... way different than my HK.. installing the onkyo plugin NOW!!! as i setup the NIC
