    Can't connect to my receiver

    Hi Tom

    I have a Onyko NR905

I had been using a very old version of the plugin (I did purchase a license) and things worked. I've upgraded to version 1.1.5 via the updater and now it won't connect. (I have verified the ip address, and I can access the webpage of the receiver at that IP address). This worked before, after the upgrade it doesn't.

Please let me know what to do. Thanks!

    Can't connect to my receiver

Hi - does anyone know if this plug in is still supported?

Yes it is supported, I didn't see your last post. The updater actually has a very old version, try downloading 1.1.5 from the forum. Thanks

        Can't connect to my receiver

Ok downloaded the latest version. 1.1.5. Still getting the same error. Can't connect to my receiver.

I then downgraded to version 1.1.0 - same issue. Finally I failed back to version 1.0.1.0 and it was able to connect.

Let me know what you think. Tx

In version 1.1.0 and up the whole plugin was changed from versions 1.0.X. In order for the upgrade to work you may have to delete all devices and recreate then with 1.1.4. After created you can upgrade to 1.1.5. First I would attempt to just run create devices in 1.1.4 before you delete your devices.

            Can't connect to my receiver

Hi Tom - I installed 1.1.4 as you mentioned and I get the same error, can't connect to the receiver. I can't create devices when the plug in isn't connecting to the receiver.

Some receivers have a firmware error with the !PWR command in the past. If you are able to update your receiver's firmware please try that since i do a connection check with that command

I will see if its not updated. But I just want to point out again that it did / does currently work with 1.0.1. Did you change the !PWR command?

                  Can't connect to my receiver

Tom - I checked my firmware. I'm running the latest version for my receiver (1.08).

                  What do you think?

I've had this happen to me. My DTR 9.9 connects via serial. Solid as a rock. My DTR 50.3 and DHC 80.3 are direct ethernet with the latest firmware. Every once in a while they decide they don't want to play nice. I can still ping them, but they just aren't responding to commands. Powering off the receiver, unplugging it, plugging it back in and telling the PI to connect again has never failed me. (knock wood)

                    Hope it helps.

                      Can't connect to my receiver

Thanks Jim. I will try that but I can't even ping the receiver when I use the latest version of the plug in.

                      Will report back.

Were you ever able to get this solved? It appears my 50.3 has gone sideways... cannot get it on the network. Going in to setup and the "Network" menu is grayed out. It seems like the network port on the unit has failed.

                          Apologies for the delay.

I actually gave up on it and gave it one final shot today unplugging it and re plugging it worked.

I'm on firmware 1.08 of that helps.
