    trial and registration

    I recently started the eval of WAFNetCallerID. I think it will work great in my situation. I moved my HS to a new box over the weekend. Before the switch, I had 17 days remaining in the trial, but after the transfer, it appears that my trial period is up. It keeps giving me a message in the log about removing lines from the startup and shutdown scripts.

    So, is my trial period up? Not a big deal since I was going to purchase anyway, just wasn't planning on it for a couple weeks. How do I purchase and register it? Where is the documentation that tells me how? I haven't read anything yet that spells that out for me.

        I guess it's not so clear to me. I just purchased and received an 8 digit license code. Using help\registrations\scripts gives me four boxes to complete. What goes where?

          Help ---- Registrations ---- Scripts (may Plugins - been a long time since I bought it)

              I'm sure it's in help\registrations\scripts, but it gives me four boxes to complete and I only have a single 8 digit number. What do I enter in the other boxes?

                Post the email/confirmation, scramble your email address and other personal info and put x's in for the 8 digit code.

                    There is a problem with that number.
                    Two routes:

                    Email the full email to karen@homeseer.com
                    and/or
                    Open a helpdesk ticket at http://www.homeseer.com/cgi-bin/helpdesk/pdesk.cgi

                    Looks like you got an incomplete number generated or something.

                        Thanks for posting the info you received. That is definitely an incomplete key they gave you. Bill has set you on the correct path; Karen is the one in charge of license keys. I sure can see why your were confused.
